Lightened Pearl Foundation organization was incepted on 2020 as Smile Youth Africa started by the Chief Executive Director Miss Nabawessi Vanessa who mobilized as passionate team of young people. During the process of registering the organization, members decided to get a new eye catching name Lightened Pearl Foundation which could match our goals and objectives. The foundation focuses on helping the teenage mothers, the children and the youth at large.

We are a group of ambitious youth with a deep passion for helping those less fortunate. Our plan involves making a positive impact through charity work during various outreaches to different areas. Together, we strive to bring hope and support to communities in need.

We develop culturally attuned strategies that are attainable and practical to promote security and equity of gender opportunities and health development of children, women, youths, families and communities.
We mobilize money generating projects such as car wash, Online Organization shop, donations, subscription fee, Charity campaigns and social media adverts from which we acquire funds to support our activities like guidance and counselling session, assisting children with scholastic materials, giving out basic needs to teenage and single mums, disabled kids and carrying out community work.
We provide scholastic material and assist some with completion of their school fees or link them to bigger organizations for such assistance.

We offers vital care and support to pregnant mothers, empowering them with resources and guidance for a hopeful journey into motherhood.
